How to display image plant files in LANDWorksCAD for AutoCAD or Bricscad?

Answer

This short video explains how to change the block/plants display to images and introduces additional concepts such as TRANSPARENCY and FRAME AutoCAD commands.

Please note the following:

  1. Only PNG and TIFF transparencies are recognized by AutoCAD 2010-2012
  2. TRANSPARENCY = On will show the image transparency if applicable
  3. FRAME = 0 will hide the image frame

AutoCAD 2012 allows you to select images even without FRAME. AutoCAD 2010 and 2011 won't allow to select images unless FRAME = 1

Bricscad works exactly like AutoCAD 2010-2011
